Today, Arden Grange is now available in Europe and it won’t be long before it’s available worldwide. This company has been in existence since 1996, they wanted to create the perfect dog food because they realized and understood the importance of a healthy and vitalized dog.
They offer premium dog food in the UK and is one of UK’s best selling brands.
Arden deserves a four-star rating for most of their ranges, except their sensitive range could be higher.
Arden are against animal cruelty and they’ve perfectly produced a natural hypoallergenic, no preservatives, no unnatural colorings and artificial flavorings dog food range. Additionally, their dog food is free of wheat, gluten, soy, beef, dairy, by-products, derivatives, menadione, growth hormones, salt and sugar.
Arden also claims their food is free from:
- If chicken: head, feet, bones, skin or feathers
- If lamb: wool, blood, head, bones, hooves or spinal cord
Even though Arden has a specific food for touchy stomachs called ‘Sensitive’, all their other foods are designed for delicate stomachs.
Arden Grange dog food quality
Arden Grange uses lamb, chicken and salmon in their ranges. They only use human grade quality and their meat is listed as a first ingredient. The meat is not listed as fresh, but ‘named’ meal which is a real bonus.
Arden’s second ingredient is whole-grain rice.
The third ingredient is maize, which is a let-down. However, as the maize is very little and all the other ingredients are top class, this makes this brand a great winner.
The fat in Arden’s range is of a healthy source, it doesn’t just state animal fat, but ‘named’ fat.
Arden include a bone and joint pack to prevent hip dysplasia, bone degradation, and arthritis. Extra vitamin e and rosemary extract is used as a natural preservative.
The only ingredients missing is fruit and vegetables, but as no food is totally complete and balanced, owners could add these separately.
The Arden Grange dog food has a very reasonable price tag considering the amazing quality of the ingredients.

The good news is, I haven’t come across one bad review. In fact when I have this to my dogs, they thrived on it.
Out of all the dog foods I have reviewed; I found this agrees with many dog’s stomachs. Dog’s thrive on this food; their coats aren’t sticky, but extremely shiny; their poop is wholesome; dog have energy, glowing eyes and are full of vitality.
Arden also stocks canned dog food, again extremely wholesome. I am always cautious of canned foods because of aluminium leakage, I advise all dog owners to use canned food sparingly. A couple of tablespoons to your dog’s chosen dried food occasionally as a treat is suffice.
I have found that dogs require a little more food than what is stated on the Arden Grange bags.
